The so called stem cell debate is over. Every time we hear about these advances in the area of medicine the generic term 'stem cell' is used without any mention of the origin of those successes. Think for a minute if you can come up with the one word that defines murder up from the crime of manslaughter. That word is 'CHOICE'.
What often troubles most Republicans about the political theater is the blatant dishonesty in how the media operates. All major news media has gone to a 100% editorial format that conducts Democrat campaigns of misinformation without question. When a Republican offers a goal they see as being in the nations interest the media searches for a hidden agenda without exploring the merit of the facts.
Ever since science has sought to unlock the secrets of cloning and stem cell research many have put forth the notion that the greatest advance in this field could be made by exploring the human embryo. These assertions however don't line up with the facts found in the current research which has never come up with a single instance where embryonic stem cells have advanced any treatment what so ever. In fact since the dawning of this debate huge advances have been made with respect to adult stem cells a fact scientists have tried to hide from the public.
Democrat politician take an all or nothing approach to stem cell research. They refuse to acknowledge the advances in adult stems cells and insist more embryonic research is needed irrespective of it's failed track record. In recent election campaigns Democrat candidates have flat lied about the potentials they claim to exist by increasing federal funding for embryonic research. The false nature of the claim starts with their insistence a ban exists in such research when it is merely funding from the federal government that was restricted. No mention is ever made of the absolute fact that any such potential cures would be high demand. That demand would create a huge amount of revenue for any company that discovered any such treatments. So the question I have is why on earth isn't private money not being spent to explore these potential treatment options? The answer is because they simply don't exist.
Republican lawmakers have tried fruitlessly to get past the rhetoric of the main stream press who insist the GOP is against all stem cell research which is totally outrageous. For some reason the wide eyed consensus weighs heavier than the facts as we all know them. But the facts are not what is important to a media hungry for rating, they want 24/7 scandal even if they have to create by ignoring the truth. Republicans by in large are against two simple things when it comes to stem cell research. The first is the scientific communities desire to clone human beings. The other is the promotion and acceptability of abortion which by it's definition is a barbaric act of murder.
We in the GOP are not all a bunch of southern Baptist who use our Biblical knowledge to judge the masses. What I think lies at the core of all our objections is our constitution's right to life. Our founders made it very simple by limiting us only in that we do not have the right by our own actions to deny life, liberty or pursuits of happiness to our fellow Americans. Republicans don't see how a society can call the brutal dismemberment of a defenseless human being for the sake of another convince is reflective of those rights. Further we don't see it as a right of choice because that choice impugns the life of another human being. Democrats side step the facts of science when it comes to actually setting any factual standard of life’s beginning, but in the name of science see a need to use that life as research material.
Sometimes you really have to wonder whose agenda Democrats are truly serving. Science has come along way since Roe v Wade which only upheld by the Supreme Court due to a lack of any scientific proof life existed in the first trimester. Many of the justices would have denied Roe if they had the technology of ultrasound and seen what medical advances have taught us about life. Since then the moral make up of Americans has fallen off a cliff and everyday babies are killed by doctors who make false claims about the life of a woman. The term "life of the mother" to most would mean immanent death our of her control. But to science and the Democrat party that could mean anything from depression to a cost of living increase due to another mouth to feed. In that respect the life of a grieving father who has no rights in the matter is given no consideration for his depression.
This is not about science this is about an act of evil, murder, and the business of misinformation to gain political power. The war on children is in full swing here in America. Democrats have an agenda and the stem cell argument is merely a part of it. There is no forum for honest debate because they know the facts don't support their position.
Republicans can't allow such issues to distract our agenda which will right this issue once imposed. Our agenda is a direct reflecting of our founding documents as a measure to all such arguments, their agenda is a dark deceptive abyss which seeks to overturn our founding.
