Um ya know I just like realized that our constitution say "we the people" are the government. Seem stupid of me but I'll ask anyway. Why in the world to people get away with calling anything "government funded"? For instance the sChip program is funded by taxes collected on tabacco sales so there for it is smoker funded. When Obama says his program spending package is taxpayer funded he is lying because those funds are not available from American taxpayers. Those funds have been made available by printing cash and bartering worthless notes with foreign dictators.
Who pays for it? This financial crisis was caused by housing prices collapsing, right? Then why is it so hard to believe that the Community Reivestment Act forced investers to break their own rules and lower their qualifiers? It created a loosened lending environment and caused an oasis run on the realty market. The lending rules led to zero down, 125% financing, and without enforcement mechanism appraiser were left to highball home value or exile. As prices rose expectations did as well as many homeowners cashed in on their returns. Specualtion was a no brainer in most circles, realestate was king.
We pay for it and we always will. Those who are trying to sell the belief government funding, are saying, "you can't have it unless everbody gets it", sounds good in theory. What they leave out is that they have absolutly no plan on how to make it work or that they have a hit list of pet peeves. We can all pay for our own healthcare, but we can't afford the cost of giving everyone unlimited free healthcare. Government spending is by it's very definition a rationing process of funds collected through taxation, rationing being the key word. When rationing of health services begins nose bleeds will be seen and cancer treaments will be scrubbed.
We will owe for it. Hilary Clinton took our 2 trillion dollar withdrawl slip to the Chinese who have recently wavered their support for the US economy. I do hope someone can come up with a chart of best case senario surplus spending to pay down this debt. Makes me wonder if we weren't just mistransulating the Aztec calender.
We owe and they want more. Reality it can be like dealing with a drug addict that wants to quit right after the next fix. The lies, the crimes, all the deception and it only keeps getting worse.
Who is the government? We are and our elected class is trying to shut us out!!!
