I don't know about you but everytime I've said it I have found out the hard way that life can always get worse.
Those who tell us to just give our president a chance or accuse us only of criticism are short in memories and long in excuses. Not to say everyone of them is a hypocrit, but who gave Bush a chance? His transition to power wasn't the smooth gracious action to which he handed Obama. Our economy was in almost the exact same shape when Bush took office as when he left, but the six years in between were some of the most prosperous this nation has ever seen. When president Clinton left office he put our ecnonmics into a nose dive and told his staff to trash the white house. In 2006 Democrats took over congress and did the exact same thing from that branch of government. Now they want to entitle the courts whose offices are unelected the chance to ruin not just an elected term but generation of American prosperity.
But it is going to get worse and more so than any of us might well imagine as the populous sways to the ambient haze of "hope & change". We face a problem we thought dealt with but now we see the reprocussions of not handling the Bush years in an appropriate manner. Many in the GOP were wrong to be shamed by his outward displays of faith instead of embrassing his commitment to task and trivialisng his mode of expression as normal. So to are those who urged him to create a smooth blend between presidential authority and evangelical hypocracy. We lost the arguement on sepparation of church and state on ignorance allowing the Democrats to take a legitemite distinction and mutate it into a war between God and man.
Oh course some see this as the end of times, thus the idea is hatched that it can't get any worse than this!!! Republicans are there own worst enemies............
