We need to prove it as a model in a over time senario. That is this; Should there ever be a day when you can't go find a doctor to fix you without asking for permission to see one?
We all hear about care rationing and that is just a fact that comes within the realm of limited resources and unlimited needs. While it is true that this very day rationing is taking place in insurance claims offices and in grocery store checkout lines everywhere. Food diets are a form of self imposed rationing and what is being called "health-care rationing" is not. Since resources go in one door and results come out another there is no chance in proving that anyone will ever get what they pay for.
The problems conservatives need to overcome in this area are simple. There is a stigma that a limited finite source of healthcare exists availible in this country. The reason given to us is greed by doctors, insurance companies, and the drug manufacturers as if they are the only players that exist within the frame work of healthcare. Everytime a legal hack turn a million the cost of a medical practice increases insurance rates to the consumer.
If the government would simply ration legal care to those who claim medical malpractice one would think you could spin the dynamic of cost.
