A big tent it is um huh. No a win it isn't. What is going on in the political landscape should be a wake up call to all the wandering masses who think we need to cater the GOP to a broader base of core support.
We don't need the religious right, we don't need the neo-conservatives; if they agree with the platform great if they don't go vote for some who believes just the opposite of 75% of your views.
The time has come to limit debate to facts; throw out the moral equvilance and worst case senarios and focus like a laser beam on what is in the best interest of freedom and individual liberty.
We need a campaign against everything from looney Public Service Announcements to the false science of global warming to abortion rights.
The party needs to honor the separation of church and state by embracing it's original intent. When the GOP allows religious dogma into debate it is an albatros to the facts that can be proven to exist. The consequences are seen in the removal of Christian Holy Days from the public square.
